CARE

You can extend the lifespan of your selections by taking gentle care of them. Handwashing is recommended for all clothing: cool water with mild detergent in a sink or bucket and agitating by hand. If you have a very modern washing machine- you may be able to launder some pieces on a delicate cycle once in a while. But the fibers will last much longer if your hands are the ones that care for them. This is devotion.

For stubborn marks- I recommend a strong solution of OxiClean, fully dissolved in water & gently scrubbed in with a toothbrush. (Steer clear of Golden Milk while wearing these clothes- I’ve never found anything that can get Turmeric all the way out of white cotton)

Sometimes we just wanna hand our precious garments over to the professionals to take care of. Please consider the chemical impact & residue and dry clean only when crucial.

Don’t ever put these garments in a dryer. Ever. Dry flat on a rack (preferred) or hung from a line, being mindful that stretching can occur if hung while very wet & heavy.

We honor the the cultivation & weaving of the fibers, the sewing & embellishment of the apparel, and the hands that have performed this artistry by nurturing a long relationship with these garments.
